Checkers Special Sales



In case you didn't notice it on the 'Weekly Ad Matches Page' Checkers is having a couple different sales this week. They are having their normal sale with lasts until the 19th (so all week) but they also are having a sale that is only on the 15th and another one that is only for the 16th. 20 Sundrops Scored

I forgot to mention our experience on getting those 20 Sundrops that i had gotten rain checks on (mentioned before).


I had kept checking to see if they were in stock and of course they were not. I noticed that the area for the Sundrop was very small and they were probably not even going to have 10 stocked on the shelves at a time.


My hubby went and talked to the service desk while i continued shopping. They wrote up a note for the 7-Up distributor to save up 20 when he came to stock the shelves. Not sure if he got his message or not but that didn't matter. We stopped in the day before the coupons expired and luckily the 7-Up guy was setting up a display and he loaded up our cart for us, he even gave us the plastic wracks to hold the 2 liter bottles (those will be a keeper for sure!)


Yay for free soda!

Canning Supply Deals


I'm a procrastinator as you might find out. Usually i do my shopping on the last day of the sale like i did yesterday.

I was very pleased with my shopping trip, mostly by the canning supplies i was able to snatch.

Homeland had these on sale:
  • Ball Jars - Regular Quart Mason, Wide Mouth Pint or Quilted Jelly - 12ct $6.99
    • That's $.58 a jar
  • Ball Wide Mouth Quart Jars 12ct $7.99
    • That's $.67 a jar
  • Ball Liquid Fruit Pectin 6oz $2.29
    • $1 OFF (1)
    • Final Price: $1.29
  • Ball Regular Dome Caps 12ct $2.99
  • Ball Regular Dome Lids 12ct $1.29
    • $1 OFF (2)
    • Final Price: $.79ea WYB 2
On a couple of the canning jar boxes was a coupon booklet. Love it when i find those! There was coupons for $1/2 on the lids and $1/1 on the fruit pectin. I failed to wright down the regular prices because i was a tad stressed to get home quickly but i'm pretty sure each of the jar sets were $9-$10ea so it was a great deal!

I hope if you were in need of canning supplies you used these good deals :)
I like to hoard glass jars because they can be used for so many things!

Dillon's Coupon Deals For 6/6 - 6/12


Dillons fully doubles any coupon 50¢ and under. Coupons 51¢ to 99¢ “double” to $1.00. Anything $1 and over stays at face value. Remember that you can no longer stack eCoupons with paper coupons, so you decide which coupon you would like to use. You can load coupons to your card at Cellfire, Shortcuts, P&GeSaverand Dillons. eCoupons do not double.
