There is many ways to collect coupons. I will share with you all the ways i know how to get coupons but i'm sure there are other ways i don't even know about.

Way's To Get Coupons:

  • Sunday Newspaper.
    • In less a holiday lands on a Sunday there will most likely be coupon inserts in you Sunday edition of the newspaper. Coupons are regional so sometimes they will be different in different areas or some areas might have higher value coupons then other areas. Here i tend to find that the Kansas City newspaper (I buy mine at Wal-Mart) has more/different value coupons then the Wichita newspaper.
    • You can go to Sunday Coupon Preview to find out what inserts are predicted to be in a given Sunday and what they are suppose to be.
    • Also make sure to look in your newspaper before you buy it and make sure it has all the coupon inserts that are suppose to be in there. Many times an inserts might be missing or in lucky cases you will find one that has extra copies of inserts in them. You never want to come home and find you have spent money on the newspaper to find that it has no inserts in them.... been there done that, not fun!
  • All You Magazines.
    • You can find All You Magazines at Wal-Mart in the check out lanes. These are usually packed with coupons. Good thing about these, they tend to have long expiration dates on them and tend to be higher value coupons. You might be lucky and even find 'free product' coupons them.
    • I also make a quick skim in these to make sure they are good coupons before i buy them.
    • Sometimes you can even find coupon for All You Magazines or you can get a prescription to the magazine for cheaper then buying them in store.
  • Print Coupons From Home.
    • There is many sources to print coupons from home. I have a database of links to great places to find coupons HERE.
  • Buy Coupons Online.
    • Off hand this may not sound cost effective but it can be worth it. You can look on Ebay for mixed coupons or 'stacks' of coupons.
      • By stacks i mean 1 kind of coupon in large quantities, 5-10-20+. This can be nice when you see a deal coming for a free product.
      • Mixed coupons tend to be way cheaper then stacks of coupon. They can be nice to stock your coupon binder and can be nice because you get coupons from a different area (which can mean different or higher value coupons then in our area)
    • You can also buy coupons from a clipping service like The Coupon Clippers.
    • You can buy full inserts off of Ebay or insert services like Sunday Coupon Inserts.
      • When looking for coupons or inserts on Ebay make sure to type in which coupon you want or the date of the insert you are looking for.
  • Ask Your Friends.
    • It doesn't hurt to ask your family and friends who don't coupon to collect their coupons for you if they get Sunday papers. It is a big blessing when someone takes the time to share their unused coupons with you.
  • Join A Coupon Swap.
    • Butler County has a great group on facebook called 'Butler County Coupon Swap'. You can trade coupons there and ask questions. They are very helpful with tips. A great group of ladies!
  • Dumpster Dive.
    • Yep you read that right! El Dorado's recycling center allows you to go look in there 'newspaper' bin and find coupons for free if you would like. I have done this times and have great luck, but it's hard to do with my two little girls so i don't get around there very often.
