Free Razors Anyone?

No seriously! Anyone want some free razors? I don't need this many LOL.

I had bought some coupons on ebay and the seller stated that if i more then one bundle from him then other orders would have free shipping. Well i saw the $2 OFF any Schick Disposable Razors which i knew would snag me some free razors at Wal-Mart. It was a stack of 20 coupons for $1 so i couldn't pass that up! Well i got them and kept keeping my eye on the razor bin at Wal-Mart but they were always out (probably everyone else was doing the same thing as me) I was able to only use 2 of the Q and they expired 11/20... so i was worried it was a waste to buy them. Well last night i found the bin FULL! I was so excited! Got 18 of them.... finished out my Q. The gave me a $.03 overage so a total of $.54 added towards my other items. Every penny helps!

All this was FREE with a $2.60 overage.
That's 216 freaking razors! I need to give them away now :)

In total i with Q and PM i saved $74.76. I didn't purchase near as much as i thought i would. I have a trip to Dillon's to make still but it looks like in total i might spend $300 less then i have budgeted, which is always amazing.

My Shopping Trip Plans

Ok I'm headed closer to Kansas City this weekend to my in-laws. This makes me happy because there will some really good stores i get to PM there that i can't PM here where i live. I also hope to use up my razor Q at there Wal-Mart seeing as our Wal-Mart is always out because i live in a huge couponing city and the good deals go very fast! Also my razor coupons expire soon. Hope i can use most of them up!

Today i saw that a store over in that area was having milk on sale for $1.98 a gallon, but it was for today and tomorrow. We won't get over there till Friday so i asked my sister in-law to PM the ad and grab me a few gallons. I'm so excited she agreed to do it for me! That is at the least $1 a gallon savings!!!

My Wal-Mart PM plans there:

Then I will come back and do some more shopping at my local Wal-Mart and PM stores around here. Also i will take advantage of Dillon's fabulous deals! Hopefully i can get everything that i plan on getting!

Wal-Mart:

Dillon's:

Now that should be about a total OOP of $180.64 for $374.64 worth of goods. About 177 items. That is about half of the food on my list for the whole month and i usually allot $500 for the month. So half the food bought for less then half of my budget! That is an AWESOME start!

      How To Ad Match

      Abbreviations:
      PM = Price Match
      RR = Register Reward
      Q = Coupon

      Wal-Mart Price Matching Policy

      Ok I've had people ask how ‘ad matching’ works. This is something i have always done since i learned how to do it (from being a cashier at Wal-mart)
      Wal-mart will ad match any ad that you have from a store with in 50miles of your area.
      I use to get the newspaper on Thursdays so i could have my ad matches with me but now that Wal-Mart has changed their policy you no longer have to have the ad with you to still price match. You simply just tell them the ad match price (PM) and what store you are PM from.
      I now look up my ad's to PM online but make sure it is an 'in store' ad and not an 'online only' ad.

      How to ad match:

      1. You have to PM brand for brand, size for size and so on. If the store has the same brand advertised in the ad, then you have to get that brand. Now several CSM's i have talked to said they do allow you to price well know off brands like Best Choice and Always Save with Wal-Marts store brand Great Value.
      2. Also read your ad carefully. You have to make sure the item you are getting matches the ad in size, lb – oz – ct ect. But you do not have to get the same quantity. Say the ad says 4/$1…. you do not have to get ‘4’ you can get what ever amount you want. Although if the ad said ‘limit 5’ or something on that order some cashier will make you abide by that.
      3. When the ad said something like 2/$5… i find it more helpful if you just tell the cashier the item is $2.50 each or 10 for $10 items tell them $1 each and so on.
      4. You have to tell the cashier before she rings the product up that you have an ad match on that item. "I have a price match on this item Dillon's has butter for $1.99ea" something like that.
      5. Price Matching Walgreen's: You can not PM Walgreen's 'After Register Reward' price. A RR is a manufacture coupon for X amount towards the whole total of your next purchase, not one certain item. You can not PM a manufacture coupon. Please don't abuse this, any abuse affects all couponers!
        I have saved so much money doing this alone, let alone if you couple it with coupons.

        I hope this helps someone!

        Shop smart!

        My Stockpile

        4 months of stockpiling

        My stockpile is worth over $2,000 so far

        Today my husband finished building me these shelves in my pantry room. I was so excited to be able to unload all my crates and get things organized. Next he will be building more shelves on the other side of the room. One side will be GM or general merchandise and the other side will be food but for now everything will have to be on these shelves.

        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        Recently i started a spreadsheet to calculate how much i have spent on my stockpile and how much i would have spent on it if i would have paid regular price.
        So far to date i have spent $616.46 on products that would have cost $1,902.17. I think that is pretty good!
        Yesterday my hubby started building me shelves in my pantry! SOOOOO exciting! I love them! I am able to organize my stuff and it’s so much nicer! I can’t wait for him to finish it! Then i can take pics and show is off :D
